This is a necklace made by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico and is often referred to as the "Comma Necklace" as the links making up the necklace do resemble a comma. Illustrations of Antonio's Comma can be seen in the book MEXICAN SILVER. The necklace is made of 970/1000 silver (sterling silver is 925/1000) and is set with shaped round onyx as the "dot" to the comma design. It is approximately six and one quarter inches in diameter and about sixteen inches long when opened. This necklace was made by Antonio in 970 silver. It is marked with the Antonio crown logo, Made in Mexico, 970, YY, 439 and the number 17 eagle mark. This necklace has not been buffed.

This beautiful handmade gold gilt bracelet is set with twenty-five semi precious stones. The bracelet is not marked, but believed to be Indian or Persian. This bracelet does come to us out of a Cairo, Egypt estate. It is said to be circa 1920s. The diameter of the bracelet is approximately 2 1/2 inches. The width of the bracelet tapers from about one and an eighth inches up to two and an eighth inches. The bracelet is decorated with some applied filigree wire work and beads.

This piece by Los Castillo is alternately a pendant or a pin. It is made of sterling silver and set with azurite. With economy of line the Cancer crab and the Cancer zodiac symbol are described with inlayed silver. The top of the pendant has a bowed decorative and the reverse of the pendant has a loop eyelet for securing a chain and is also fitted with a pinback finding. Various marks are found on the back of the pendant: HECHO EN MEXICO; a circular mark that says “Los Castillo Taxco”; and a model number 114. The pendant measures 1 ¾ “ x 1 ½ “.

This detailed profile rooster pin is made of sterling silver. The pin measures about 1 5/16” high by 1 3/16” wide. The pin has no makers mark, but is stamped on the back “STERLING” with an indistinct “S”. This pin is in excellent vintage condition.

This pair of hook earrings, by Kurt Hiller for Niederkorn Silver, feature dangling shamrocks in sterling silver that are inlayed with crushed green stone. The earrings are about 1 6/8” inches long by 1 5/16” wide, by 1/16” thick. The back of the shamrocks are stamped with Niederkorn Silver’s unicorn and “N” mark over “STERLING” and Kurt Hiller’s mark of an “H” with bowed stems and a “K” and a “D” above and below the cross bar.

American made sterling silver topped, cut crystal, perfume horn to be worn as a pendant. The sterling top is hinged; the cap being decorated with a large winged cherub's head surrounded by acanthus foliage. The silver is marked "STERLING". There is a sterling ring attached to the silver top that makes it possible for the perfume horn to be worn on a chain or ribbon. The glass perfume vile, which is shaped like a horn, is cut with a zipper cut. This curved horn shape and the decorative cuts to glass prevent this bottle from rolling when laid on a horizontal surface. A ground glass stopper secures the contents of the perfume vial. The silver and the glass are both in great vintage condition with no dents to the silver or chips to the vial or the stopper. Circa 1900

This stylized Alligator pin by an unknown Mexican maker is made of sterling silver. The alligator pin is depicted in profile and flat with details stamped on the surface by way of circle and bar stamps. The pin measures about 2 ¾” Inches long, by 1 ¼” inches wide. The pin is marked back of the alligator’s tail: “925”; “MEXICO” (upside down); and TV-94. The pin is in very good used condition.

This sterling silver pin by an unidentified maker, Orb, depicts a stylized cat. The pin measure approximately 1 ½” inches high by 1 1/8” inches long. The pin was probably made in the mid-20th century. The pin is marked on the back “Orb” in script letters, over “STERLING”. The pin is in excellent vintage condition.

This solid sterling silver necklace is a playful 1950s design by Kurt Eric Christoffersen and manufactured by International Silver Company. After being discovered by a representative of International Silver Company, the largest silver company in the world in the 1950s, Christoffersen was hired to design silver jewelry and hollowware in the modernist style for the company through its subsidiary, International Silver Craft Associates. The necklace is an open floral motif; the links of which are made to resemble petals or leaves fanning out from a center ball; the links are joined by scrolling tendrils. There are seven identical petal or leaf fans that alternate slightly in size and make up the focal point of the necklace, and six three leaf, ball and tendril links divided equally on either side of the focal point that connect to the clasp. The is marked: "INTERNATIONAL STERLING CHISTOFFERSEN DESIGNED". The necklace is approximately 16 1/2 inches long. It is in excellent vintage condition and it has no monogramming.

Sterling Silver Shamrock Pin

This 1960s Triple Snowflake Pins was designed by Kurt Christoffersen for International Silver Co. of Meriden, Connecticut. The pin, composed of three identical geometric silver snowflakes arranged in a triangular configuration and separated by three silver balls, measures about 1 15⁄16” inches by 1 15⁄16” inches. The back of the pin is marked “STERLING” over an overlapping “KC” (for Kurt Christoffersen), between “I” and “S” (for International Silver Co.) in soft corner reserves. The Pin is in excellent vintage condition.

Three Sterling Silver Square Wire Bang Bracelets by Alan Adler

This cuff bracelet is a classic Spratling design. The central design is that of what looks like twisted wires of silver and copper. The width of the bracelet is approximately one and one quarter inches wide and 2 and a half inches at the widest diameter. The Spratling stamped markings indicate that this bracelet was made between 1940 and 1946. The markings are "Spratling Silver" and the "WS" intertwined William Spratling logo. The bracelet is in very fine condition and it does show signs of use consistent with its age. There is no evidence of abuse or repair and it has not been buffed. This cuff bracelet is just a very nice vintage piece.
